Space Mountain

Did Universal Studios this afternoon. Just a little underwhelming, but Feb is definitely the time to do it. We barely queued for anything for more than 10 mins. All in all - Disneyland kills Universal Studios. Their Space Mountain ride in particular kills anything Universal has.

Turns out we’ve had walking robots for some time now. Embarrassingly for me - I completely missed the innovation. Here’s a few videos featuring Asimo; Honda’s robot. I took these today out at Disneyland. Here’s one of him dancing:

This morning’s flight across the Pacific was pleasant enough. Got around 6 hours of sleep and an entire row to myself.

Warren collected me from LAX, and we drove down towards Disneyland before making a diversion to Nixon’s Presidential Library. They’ve put his helicopter on display out there. Very cool.
